Catching up, and journals

29 Weeks (aka 3 weeks ago)

I live!  The last month has been tough, what with trying to finish up a challenging quarter at school, work, blah blah blah when all I really want to do is sit on the couch all day and watch my belly dance.  However, I turned in my last big project this weekend, meaning that I am one final exam away from sweet, sweet freedom this summer!   My excitement is practically tangible.

And I have so many things to blog about!  Workouts, birth plans, the creative disaster/masterpiece that is my (baby's) nursery, plus all that wonderful day-to-day hecticness that is trying to get everything ready now that I'm a mere 8 weeks from my due date.

I'll be back later this weekend (and hopefully with some regularity now) with a more substantial post.  Right now I have to get ready for childbirth prep class!  2 hours every Friday for the next 4 weeks, and this will be our first class... I have no idea what to expect, but I'm still pretty psyched to learn and have my husband there and involved with me.

Oh, and it's June 1st!  A very significant day for two reasons.  1) it marks my second anniversary of being Gluten Free, and 2)...
Journal Prompt 1:  Create an introduction page.
Janel's 30 Day Journal Challenge is underway again!  It's my 3rd year participating (and hopefully my second year finishing), and it couldn't have come at a better time - I'm bursting with crazy nesting energy and I need something to channel my creative energy into besides making stuff for the nursery (because really, how many paper pom poms does a baby REALLY need?)

  1. Yay June! And like I said, there can never be too many paper pom poms in one household. ;)
